Wasfia’s work has been published in magazines around the world: Shape magazine, National Geographic, One Life (Land Rover’s official magazine) - to name a few. Her philosophy of life is featured among five most adventurous souls in National Geographic's special publication “Adventures of a Lifetime” and in U.S. Astronaut Ron Garan's book "The Orbital Perspective."

Astronaut Ron Garan sends Wasfia Nazreen off to Denali, highest mountain of North America:

Tomorrow +Wasfia Nazreen starts her climb to the highest peak in North America. Today I will speak with her about her reasons for doing it and we'll talk about her Osel Foundation which aims to develop vital education programs, employment and outdoor training for at-risk adolescent girls in Bangladesh and Nepal.

“Wasfia” the Shortfilm: National Geographic Explorer and Adventurer of the Year Wasfia Nazreen doesn't just climb for the thrill; she climbs for a cause. The first Bangladeshi to scale the Seven Summits, Wasfia has made it her purpose to brave these climbs for the sake of something larger - for the women of Bangladesh.
